Jessie is so excited to start her first semester as the president of HTAC! She found her family in HTAC her freshman year and she is blessed to call HTAC home. Jessie is very proud of this company and all of the people who put in countless hours of effort to create something magical.
Vice President: Elliot Queale
Major: mechanical engineering, senior
Elliot is excited to continue serving as the Vice President of HTAC! He has been involved in over a dozen productions as a Technical Director, Stage Manager, and Music Director, and this will be his seventh and final semester on the board. This spring, he will be the tech director for Dogfight and the Artistic Director for Pippin.
treasurer: Declan Bado
Major: biological sciences, sophomore
Declan is happy to be back at UD starting his second year at the school. This fall is Declan's first semester on the board. You may have seen Declan in past HTAC productions, Disney's Beauty and the Beast, or 'Cabaret'.
secretary: Taylor kunkel
Major: nursing, sophomore
Taylor has been an HTAC’s Assistant Stage Manager for Cabaret and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, as well as Stage Manager for Forum! She’s looking forward to Pippin this semester. Taylor loves to hang out in the office with her friends and also loves gummy bears.
Technical coordinator: Cara Vieira
Major: Mechanical Engineering, sophomore
Cara is The Harrington Theatre Arts Company’s Technical Coordinator and this is her second year working with HTAC. She has been involved in theatre since 2004 as an actress, stage manager, and technical director and is excited for the upcoming semester!
publicity coordinator: Paul Naidas
Major: media communication, senior
Paul is a senior Media Communication major with a love for all things performance. You can find him running around from meeting to meeting or hiding under the desk in the HTAC office. He hopes to pet every dog, loves to eat Mexican food, and works in social media and public relations.
social coordinator: Deirdre Mccarrick
Major: history education, junior
Deirdre is extremely excited to be given the opportunity to try her hand at the Social Coordinator position for the 2018 Spring HTAC Board. She has previously served on the board for the last year and a half as the Alumni/Historian. While that position will always hold a special place in her heart, she can't wait to tackle this new and exciting opportunity as Social Coordinator! #302
fundraising coordinator: Chelsea kirnum
Major: psychology, junior
Chelsea is HTAC's Fundraising Coordinator. She is in charge of selling merchandise and organizing fundraising events. Outside of the board, Chelsea does hair and makeup for HTAC's shows and is a research assistant at the Child's Play Lab.
costumes/props chair: ellie Canning
Major: Latin & Iberian Studies AND Art History, sophomore
Ellie Canning is HTAC’s first ever Costumes/Props Chair- aka costume closet wrangler. She joined HTAC last spring. She is also part of the World Scholars program, an ELI Peer Mentor, and a UD Creamery aficionado.
music chair: ben wiswell
Major: computer science, junior
Ben is excited to be taking on the newly created board position of Music Chair! Since joining in his sophomore year, he has music directed three shows for HTAC: American Idiot, Beauty and the Beast, and A Funny Thing Happened On the Way to the Forum; Ben hopes that this list will continue to grow until he graduates!
webmaster chair: andrew bank
Major: mechanical engineering, freshman
Andrew is thrilled to serve as webmaster this semester! This is his second semester at the University of Delaware and is extremely grateful for the home he has found here, especially with HTAC. Last semester, Andrew performed in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.
Alumni-historian chair: alexandra curnyn
Major: communication interest, freshman
Alexandra is elated to be HTAC’s new Alumni/Historian Chair! Although this is only her second semester at UD, she is eager to share her love for the company and its members with others. She looks forward to the rehearsals, meetings, friendships, and Dunkin’ runs in her near future.
philanthropy chair: Melissa silverio
Major: history education, sophomore
Melissa is so excited to be the Philanthropy Chair this year! Previously, she was in HTAC's production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, and served as Cast Representative. Melissa also works as a Peer Mentor for the History Ed department.
